Calm and Focus Mushroom Cocoa

Adaptogenic Holiday Hot Cocoa 

1 serving - Vegan, gluten free, refined sugar free

As we transition into cooler temperatures in the northern hemisphere, this delicious, circulation-boosting and stress-busting beverage will keep you performing your best all season long. Enriched with Hekate's functional mushroom cocoa (including reishi, cordyceps, chaga, and lion's mane), this recipe is packed with nutrients to help with calm, focus, immunity and energy.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup hot oat milk (For a creamier cocoa, swap 1/2 cup of oat milk in place of 1/2 cup of water)
  • 1 tbsp cacao
  • 1 tbsp Hekate Star Power
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp pure maple syrup
  • Pinch of ginger
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • For additional heat, add a pinch of cayenne

Blender instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to blender and blend on high for 30-45 secs
  2. Pour into your favourite mug and enjoy!
  3. Optional garnish: cinnamon stick + sprinkle of Star Power

Stovetop instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to saucepan
  2. Whisk contents on med heat for 3-5 mins
  3. Pour into your favourite mug and enjoy!
  4. Optional garnish: cinnamon stick + sprinkle of Star Power
