The Science of Adaptogens
Adaptogens support energy levels and encourage a healthy stress response. They help keep our stress response (our neuroendocrine system) within an optimal range.
While exact definitions continue to evolve, the word "adaptogen" relates to the concept of physiological adaptation. Adaptogens can help prevent and treat stress-related challenges, including fatigue, anxiety, and poor sleep.
Like exercise, adaptogens train our bodies to respond more effectively to stress. We believe that nutrition starts at the foundation, and formulate products that support the body's natural defence systems without trying to override them.
